do basic photo editing using Adobe Photoshop Elements. Learn what you should have in your
camera bag, how to download pictures onto your computer, how to use resizing techniques, and
how to save your digital photos so they will last. If you have a digital camera, bring it to class.

Learn basic image/photo editing skills including how to streamline image/photo editing
processes, enhance, and resize for print and the Web. This class introduces you to filters and
layers and print methods. This class will help you enhance photos taken from your digital camera.

Prerequisite: Basic Adobe Photoshop Elements. Learn how to scrapbook using Adobe Elements.
Explore many different features Adobe Elements offers such as creating CD covers, and greeting
cards. Also, learn to easily create a slide show with photos that can be viewed as a multi-media
presentation and how to create an online photo Web page for a Web site.

Course Number 08FGI335B Organizing Your Computer Files & Folders Using Windows XP
one 3 hour session

1 session, 3 hours, Wednesday
Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Windows. Learn the basic skills for
organizing files on your computer and how to use Windows XP to create folders, display the date
and time a file was last saved and sort by name or date. Also learn how to move files around on
your computer, delete files, and create shortcuts on your desktop. Naming and searching for files
will also be covered.
